In 2004, to celebrate Petter Solberg's World Rally Championship win in November 2003, Subaru asked Prodrive to create a special edition Impreza. The car is based on the WRX STi. It features a center differential inherited from the WRC, as well as specific tires. But the Impreza WR1 “Petter Solberg Edition” is distinguished above all by its magnificent “Ice Blue” metallic color. A welcome change from the traditional “World Rally Blue”. Inside, black upholstery, a Momo steering wheel, an aluminum gearshift lever and a few additional gadgets enhance the exclusivity of this special edition Impreza, one of today's rarest and most desirable models.
